But only for about a week. That's right, after the 3 days of fasting my skin was pretty much clear. However, it didn't last long. After a week of enjoying clear skin my acne came back as bad as ever. The author of Acne Free In 3 Days - Chris Gibson - says that you may need to repeat the 3 day fast numerous times, perhaps even once or twice a month, just to maintain clear skin.

I feel that this is actually very impractical. Firstly, fasting on nothing but apples is incredibly difficult to do. You have virtually no energy and have to sit in the house all day. Doing this once or twice a month is just not practical for someone with a busy lifestyle. Secondly, eating nothing but apples for 3 days leads to weight loss, and to do this repeatedly in my opinion could be dangerous.
